STUDIO ZANNOVELLONeed to edit your template?

HTML Editor
For many years the CoffeeCup HTML Editor has been the one we have preferred and used most frequently to create and edit our web sites. An excellent coding tool for css, html and php editing and ftp file transfer. It offers exceptional and stable quality at a very competitive price and we highly recommend this application for all those who are aiming to purchase a template to create a d-i-y web site with an eye on the costs involved for completion of the site. In our help files you will learn how to set up the preferences for this editor to make it very easy to recognize the editable sections of your template pages. Other editors you can use include Dreamweaver and HTML Kit.

Images
Most of the images in the template will not need to be touched at all. In fact, be very careful if you do decide to make changes to images which form part of the template structure as you will have to make sure that the size and name of the images remain the same. Obviously, any images you insert as part of your content can be in various sizes, although we do recommend that you keep them reasonably small and well optimized. That way they will download faster for your users on slower internet connections. The image editors we use most frequently are Adobe Photoshop Elements, Paintshop Pro and the CoffeeCup pix converter, depending on how complex the editing needs to be. The pix converter is a great little application for batch jobs such as resizing. Always make sure that you retain a copy of the original image before making any changes, just in case something goes wrong. Check out Gimp as an alternative image editor.

Pimp your site
Obviously you can take your web template to "greater heights" by including all sorts of extras such as photo galleries, blogs etc. For those who are already well versed in template editing, you will probably have no problems in adding these features to your site. For those who are just beginning to dabble in html and css coding, we strongly recommend that you get your web site up and working using the basic template initially, and only afterwards, give some careful thought to how, if and why you want or need to add anything new. Don't be tempted to add bells and whistles just for the sake of it as these can be very irritating to your site visitors if they are not dosed with care and in context. You can download trial versions of all the CoffeeCup software below if you would like to experiment a little more.
